BSCE 1963 - CCELee Kearney served two years in the military after graduating from OSU, then returned to the PNW to work for Kiewit Western Division from 1965-1980, rising to become Vice President in 1984 and President in 1985. He also became Vice President of the Kiewit Construction Group in 1985 and Division Manager of operations in Eastern Canada, Midwest Building, and Aker Gulf Marine Fabricators; President of Kiewit Construction and Gulf Marine Fabricators; and Director of Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc. in 1987. He served on the Board of Directors from 1989-1997. During his 32 years at Kiewit, Kearney saw over 200 OSU engineering students placed within the company, personally hiring over 50 OSU students. He was instrumental in organizing OSU alumni employed at Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc. to provide an endowment of $1.6 million for the Kiewit Center for Infrastructure and Transportation at OSU.
